INTERNATIONAL EXPANSION - EU STAFFING FIRM

Sector: Business Services.

Staffing firms often have the skills to succeed and sometimes require added expertise to expand into new regions/countries.

Our client, a well respected and recognised staffing brand across the Republic of Ireland, engaged us to deliver guidance supporting a European expansion. We provided the information necessary -  culture, labour legislation, tax law, the staffing industry market analysis, potential competition, possible office locations, and what is required to register as a business - everything our client needed to expand successfully.

By ensuring consistent and transparent communication throughout the project, our client opened offices in four new European countries winning new business during the COVID-19 economic downturn. They continue to open in more new countries.

All things are possible with the right plan and team!

RFP FACILITATION - APPLICANT TRACKING SYSTEM (ATS)

Sector: Education (Private) with 2000+ Annual Hires

Our client decided to change from a globally recognised ATS primarily because of poor customer service, confirming that global brand recognition is not always a quality guarantee. We investigated their concerns and carefully documented our client’s front and middle-office requirements to create an RFP for selecting a new ATS partner.

Sourcing potential technology partners using clear guidelines enabled our team to avoid a common mistake of over-buying functionality not required. Each ATS provided a demo, and our team then decided on a short-list and issued an RFP.

The RFP included a mix of leading ATS brands and some new to the market, but agile and leading with innovation. We presented our client with a vetted short-list and scheduled a second demo to include our client. Our team participated as the logical, third-party perspective in the final decision process.

INTERNATIONAL EXPANSION - USA MSP PROVIDER

Sector: Financial

An MSP operating only in the USA won a new Fortune 100 client, replacing an existing MSP, and becoming the second-generation (GEN2) MSP provider.

The client required services in the UK, and the MSP with no UK experience – needed our help.

Our consultants guided the MSP on the UK MSP market, labour legislation requirements, and operational best practices. We provided operational support for the implementation/transition, including training services.

The MSP, unaware of the UK Transfer of Undertakings (Protection of Employment) regulations (TUPE) for the employees of the GEN1 MSP, were no longer walking blindly into a potentially severe legal setback with the transition employees and their client.

Implementation success! The MSP is compliant, and we continue to provide ongoing consulting and team development services for their UK operations.

Sector: Information Technology

Our clients know that to compete, change is required and no longer optional. Companies who wait, and do nothing, will not survive.

The newly selected MSP engaged NimbleGCS to guide the implementation from a GEN1 MSP operating without a vendor management system (VMS) and with limited creative thought leadership to the new GEN2 MSP - providing best practices for implementation project management, supplier onboarding, programme process engineering, and governance.

In addition to meeting the project objectives, our 20+ years of focused MSP experience delivered 100% supplier adoption and an on-time programme go-live.

HYBRID MSP IMPLEMENTATION

Sector: Entertainment

We were excited, honoured, and yes, nervous when asked to manage an MSP implementation in 18 countries. The project quickly grew to 22 countries! The client had no global process or policy, and recent mergers and acquisitions created more confusion across the enterprise. Each country did its best to follow labour legislation while keeping up the demand for specialised talent.

We started the project by creating a global governance committee of in-country stakeholders. Cultural awareness was crucial to our success. There is always a different approach, something the client or we didn’t know, but through open and honest discussion - REAL INNOVATION happened between REAL PEOPLE with REAL FEELINGS. Together, we documented the current state and gathered worker and third-party partner data.

We proposed a future-state and introduced standard operating procedures (SOP) with bespoke workstreams for global differences using data.

The project scope evolved because of the ongoing discovery. Over time, we uncovered more and more challenges where we could provide expertise. We were retained because of the value of our due diligence. The project continues!

Sectors: Healthcare and Education (Public)

Feeling competitive pressure from other staffing firms, our client decided to offer their clients an MSP solution and a Vendor Management System (VMS).

We began by building a programme framework that fit well within their current customer base. We addressed the uniqueness of their industry, and offered additional services that created a compelling business case for their clients that delivered measurable value for the staffing firm – a significant return on investment (ROI).

We strengthened our client's market position by conducting MSP sales training with the national account managers. Their new awareness of the target client profile and how the company benefited from the additional revenue (commissions!) – was a win-win for everyone.

We are proud to be a BIG part of their MSP success.
